Membership is not a right, it is a privilege.
To participate in our online forums, you must agree to follow our rules and policies. Your membership is not a right, it is a privilege given to you by the management of this forum. You therefore agree that you will cooperate with any requests of the forum Moderators and/or Administrators, and give serious attention to any suggestions or recommendations you receive from them. You also acknowledge that the staff of Buhay-Noypi Forum reserves the right to delete any message(s) or portion(s) thereof.
Moderators and Administrators
Moderators and Administrators of this discussion board have the duty to enforce the forum rules listed below. They are also empowered to make positive actions that improve the general well-being of the board and its community.
By registering and participating here you agree to respect and abide by the following standards:
1. You agree not to be disruptive.
• Do not post material that is knowingly defamatory, illegal, abusive, threatening, harassing, or generally viewed by a reasonable person as being a derogatory username.
• You will not advocate what is generally accepted as illegal activity.
• Comments about other users, insults and flames are not allowed.
• Off-topic posting or hijacking of threads is inappropriate.
• Do not post porn photos, s*x videos or any other material promoting pornography
2. Expression of hate. We do not tolerate hateful messages. This includes things such as racism, sexism, xenophobia, religious bashing, open support of terrorism, homophobia, ultra nationalism or provincialism. If you generally have a problem with an entire group of people because of their nationality, religion, race or sexuality, that is your problem. Don't make it ours too. This rule is especially applicable to forumers who hijack or troll a thread/local forum, basically just to bash the topic or participants of the thread/local forum. This also applies to forumers who persistently engage in posting news articles with an agenda as identified by the BNF staff.
3. No Spamming. Do not deliberately create repetitive posts or threads in the same forum. You may do so in 2 separate forums, at the moderator's discretion and as long as it is within the forum's content.
4. Respect Privacy. You will not violate a person's privacy by publishing information that could be considered private and personal without first having obtained that person's permission.
5. No foul language in any portion of a user's title, signature, location, etc.
6. Bumping of threads will strictly be monitored and should consist of a post with "substance" or something that could add value to the thread.
7. Cellphone text type is not allowed, ex. Wer n u, w8 4 me.
8. ALL CAPS post is not allowed.
9. More than 1 exclamation point is not allowed in every post
10. Do not quote the previous post above you... it is understood that you are replying to that post.
Quote selectively, and keep your quotes short. Quote fairly -- to quote only the important lines, delete other lines if not necessary.
11. No cursing.
12. If you are posting articles copied from other site.. please mention the link or site url where did u get or the source of such article.
***Discipline and Moderation. All BNF staffers have carte blanche authority with regards to discipline and moderating the threads in their forum.
When encountered, we will generally lock an offending thread or delete offending content and may choose to PM the forumer(s) involved with a warning/explanation. Further disciplinary problems will likely result in a forumer either being banned or accounts will be deleted from BNF permanently. Banned forumers are not to re-register another account while banned, there are ways the administrators may detect the ip address of the members. If caught, all accounts will be deleted immediately.
